This is a retrofitted halogen light fixture. We installed two heatsinks and mounted the Luxeon K2's. The operating voltage is 24 volts D.C. Any standard 24 volt power supply that can provide at least 4 amps would work great for this light fixture. The light output of this fixture is warm white, very much like an incandescent bulb, without the heat and also having super long life. Approximate light output is around 600+ lumens for this design.

This fixture is a retrofit also utilizing red and blue Luxeon 1 watt emitters. When the colors blend it produces a very purple output, great for illuminating any object or building for eye-catching appeal. This blend of colors is also beneficial as a supplemental grow light. Plants really respond to the red and blue wavelengths for photosynthesis. A key benefit is that this fixture does not get hot and will not burn plants even if very close to the plants leaves.
